Overview
Dental implants are titanium-alloy artificial tooth roots placed in the jawbone to replace missing teeth and restore their function. These artificial roots support crowns, bridges or prostheses that closely mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth.
How Is Implant Treatment Performed?
The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia unless the patient specifically requests general anesthesia or sedation. Implants can be applied in one or two stages. In the two-stage method, the implant is covered with gum tissue and left for 2-6 months for osseointegration. Afterwards the upper structure (crown / bridge / prosthesis) is fitted. In the single-stage method, the upper structure can be completed immediately or shortly after.
Important Considerations
The most important factors increasing the success rate of implant treatment are: selecting an experienced doctor, using a certified and proven implant brand, digital planning and detailed radiological evaluation. At Vatan Dental Clinic, your bone structure is assessed with 3D volumetric tomography prior to every implant procedure.
Our Procedures
Fast & Fixed (Same-Day Implants)
Implants and temporary fixed teeth are placed on the same day the natural teeth are extracted. Patients leave the clinic with fixed teeth.
Advanced Implant Treatment
In cases of bone deficiency, xenograft (bovine) bone powder or autogenous bone is used for bone augmentation.
All-on-Four Technique
Fixed prostheses are placed on just 4 implants for fully edentulous patients. Advantageous in cost and treatment time.
Immediate Implant
The implant is placed in the same session immediately after tooth extraction, significantly shortening treatment time.
Implant-Supported Prostheses
Fixed and removable types available. Prevents movement of removable dentures in fully edentulous patients.
Zygomatic Implant
Special implants placed into the zygomatic (cheekbone). Applied in cases of severe upper jaw bone loss without the need for grafting.
Sinus Lift
Applied when the maxillary sinus has descended and reduced available bone in the upper back jaw region.
Apical Resection
Surgical removal of inflamed tissue at the root tip.
